Our Story Begins Here
❊ Who is Sarah
When I was young, I loved climbing trees. Not for the view, not for the adventure — but because up there, it was quiet. No one needed me to be anywhere. No one was shouting or competing. I could just be — myself, by myself. That's where I first found solitude, and with it, a sense of regulation I didn't have words for yet.
This isn't really a story about trees (though nature remains one of my favourite things). It's a story about a little girl's fight for freedom, solitude, and the chance to know herself. And it's exactly what led me to this work.
Growing up, my family was loving, generous, and wonderful — my life was full. But it was also busy. I spent a lot of energy trying to be heard and trying desperatley to fit in. So instead, I became an observer. I watched my family navigate hardships, my siblings move through adolescence, my friends, even strangers — everyone. And from all that watching, I quietly began carving out my own path.
What I always knew, even then, was that my connection with children was a gift. The love I had for them felt limitless — and I knew it had to go somewhere.
That "somewhere" became this work: helping children find their own sense of calm and self, supporting parents in reconnecting with themselves, and partnering with educators to nurture the next generation. It's my way of giving back what I once searched for in the quiet of a treetop — space to simply be.
